§ 2 SceneID Use
-
We maintain and feature to third parties a system called "SceneID" (https://id.scene.org/) that allows users to maintain a profile of theirs, and to be - when logged in to SceneID - recognized on other websites that feature the SceneID login system, e.g. Pouët (https://www.pouet.net/), Demozoo (https://demozoo.org/), Wanted (http://wanted.scene.org/), and Demoparty.net (http://www.demoparty.net/). The participation of SceneID is as voluntary as indicating your real name or any particular information about yourself, and not using it does not void any of the Website's features other than that you will not be identifiable.
While users are logged in to SceneID while browsing the Website we track their login dates and times as well as changes in their personal account data (e.g. e-mail address), in order to help users with login or other problems. We do not track any information about users' interaction with the Website. However, please be mindful that other platform providers using SceneID can and might track other information on you as you use their services or surf their website, which we have no influence on.
As your use of SceneID is voluntary so the legal basis of our tracking the above-mentioned data is your consent pertaining to art. 6 para 1 lit. a GDPR. If you do not want to be tracked in the described way on the Website, either do not use SceneID or, if you are a member, log out of SceneID before browsing the Website.
